Abstract

An improved fly-back power supply device comprises a controller, a switching device controlled by the controller to switch between on-state period and off-state period, a first conversion circuit, and a second conversion. The first conversion circuit comprises a first transformer through which current is controlled to flow or not by the switching device and the first transformer supplies a first current at one of the on-state period and the off-state period. The second conversion circuit has a second transformer through which current is controlled to flow or not by the switching device. A primary side of the second transformer is serially connected to a primary side of the first transformer and a secondary side of the second transformer is parallel connected to a secondary side of the first transformer and is connected to an output terminal. The second transformer supplies a second current at the other one of the on-state period and the off-state period. Thus, the first and second currents are alternately supplied at the on-state and off-state periods.
