Abstract

A white light-emitting diode includes a light-emitting device, an encapsulation layer around the light-emitting device and at least two phosphor materials that doped in the encapsulation layer. The light-emitting device provides a blue light that has a wavelength is between 410 ~ 500 nm. A first phosphor material can absorb parts of the blue light beamed from the light-emitting device to emit a yellow-green light has a wavelength between 500 ~ 550 nm. A second phosphor material can absorb parts of the blue light beamed from the light-emitting device to emit a red light has a wavelength between 590 ~ 650 nm. A white light is formed by m ixing the blue light, the yellow-green light, and the red light.
