Abstract

The present invention relates to an indoor positioning method of wireless sensor network. The wireless sensor network is applicable to rescue assistance in disaster scene, natural and ecological resources survey, space exploration and so on, which are all realized by the development of today's hardware technology so as to urge the involvement of related researches from all fields. However, a wireless sensor robot (WSR) only possesses the information sensing function but lacks of the ability of recognizing unknown geographical location, thus making the WSR application pretty limited. Therefore, in addition to the original sensing function of WSR, the present invention further adds a positioning algorithm that is applicable to an ad-hoc wireless sensor network environment with no fixed infrastructure, thereby assisting WSR to recognize locations in the environment and further get the job done.
