Abstract
To carry out the volume reduction for remaining precipitated sludge. In treatment tank (11), inflow raw water is treated by the first organic decomposition with microbes. Aeration tank (12) is partitioned from the treatment tank (11) by diaphragm (14) and water flowed from the treatment tank (11) is treated by aeration and the second organic decomposition with microbes. Sludge of treated water from aeration tank (12) is removed by supernatant returning mechanism, and the supernatant obtained from sludge-washing of deposited solid and floating solid in the treated water of the aeration tank (12) is transported back to the above treatment tank.
