Abstract

This invention provides a motorcycle with a simple structure and capable of suppressing cost. The motorcycle (1) provided with an engine body (11); a transmission case (12) connecting to the engine body (11) and extending to the rear side of the vehicle; and a belt type transmission (13) stored in the transmission case (12), in which a primary belt pulley (30) on the output shaft of the engine body (11) and a secondary belt pulley (31) on rear wheel axle are connected by a belt (32), a cover (37) for covering the outer side surface of the transmission case (12) is such attached to the transmission case (12) that a clearance is provided between the outer side surface of the transmission case (12) and the cover (37), and a ventilation passage (39) for circulating traveling air is formed between the cover (37) and the outer side surface of the transmission case (12).
