Abstract
The present invention relates to an energy storage apparatus, having a renewable energy device, a battery and a wireless transceiver integrated therein, which use the renewable unit to generating electricity while storing the generated electricity in the battery pack, and the generated electricity further being used to power the wireless transceiver for communication. Moreover, a lease management system and method utilizing the aforesaid apparatus is disclosed, by which a customer can perform a process of leasing an aforesaid energy storage apparatus at a service office by the use of an identification device such as a specific stored value card, a NFC cell phone or an identification card, and the leased energy storage apparatus can communicate with an operation center by the integrated wireless transceiver for dynamically informing the operation center with the status of the leased energy storage apparatus in real-time, wherein the data received by the operation center not only can be used to identify and track the leased energy storage apparatus, to control and monitor the status of the same, and to form a basis of whether to start an emergency procedure, but also the schedule of supplying elements of power source to each wireless communication and the life cycle of components of the leased energy storage apparatus can be managed and controlled by the operation center for enabling the leased energy storage apparatus to be maintain in an optimal power generating condition.
