Abstract

A method for jointing hybrid materials includes the following steps of: providing a first workpiece, which includes a reserved material and a L-shaped depression, wherein the L-shaped depression is adjacent to the reserved material and has a first connection surface; providing a second workpiece, which includes a groove and a second connection surface; temporarily combing and mounting the first workpiece to the second workpiece, wherein the groove is disposed the L-shaped depression, and the first connection surface is adjacent to the second connection surface; turning a friction stir tool, wherein the friction stir tool includes a stir pin and a shoulder; inserting the stir pin into the reserved material of the first workpiece a predetermined depth, and grinding the reserved material by the shoulder so as to cover the groove; and removing the stir pin along the contact location between the first and second connection surface so as to process a friction stir welding and further to make the first and second workpieces connected to each other.
