Abstract

A monitoring apparatus for physical movements of a body organ comprises an antenna board including transmission antenna for transmitting an ultra wideband electromagnetic wave to the body organ and a reception antenna for receiving the ultra wideband electromagnetic wave scattered by the body organ, an analog board having a plurality of electronic devices for acquiring analog signals representing the physical movements of the body organ, a digital board having a plurality of electronic devices for digitalizing the analog signals, and a display device for showing the physical movement. The method for acquiring the physical movements comprises steps of radiating an ultra wideband electromagnetic wave to a body organ, and measuring the phase difference between the ultra wideband electromagnetic wave scattered by the body organ and the reference ultra wideband electromagnetic wave. Finally, the physical movement is acquired based on the variation of the physical difference.
