Abstract

An information managing and monitoring system with dual-directional wireless remote control comprises a host computer, at least a controller and a plurality of detectors. The controller further comprises a control unit and a wireless transmission unit for transmitting signals wirelessly. The control unit and wireless transmission unit are coupled with the detectors, such that the control unit can receive data detected by the detectors and transmit these data to the remotely located host computer for data record and management by means of the wireless transmission unit. In addition, the host computer can also transmit various control signals to the controllers wirelessly. The wireless transmission unit of these controllers receive these control signals and pass them to the control units for performing predetermined functions. The electric company can use such technique to perform real-time detections of the statuses of high-voltage switches or low-voltage switches of power supply equipments, and also to control these switches by means of wireless remote control.
