Abstract

In a method for producing a sintered ore wherein various kinds of gaseous fuel are supplied to a charged bed of the sintering material on the pallets of the sintering machine from the top of the charged bed thereof, diluted gaseous fuel having a combustion lower limit concentration or less is used as the gaseous fuel supplied from the top of the charged bed. When the gaseous fuel is supplied, at least one of the supplying position, a maximum temperature of the charged bed or a retention time of high temperature region is adjusted. A sintering machine is provided with a gaseous fuel supplying apparatus.
