Abstract

The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent surface plasma resonance sensing device, which includes an organic electroluminescent device providing an excitation source of surface plasma wave, an insulation layer disposed adjacently to a cathode layer of the organic electroluminescent device, and a sensing layer for sensing a substance to be tested. The sensing device of the present invention requires no external laser source, polarizer and filter, its fabrication process facilitates automation and mass production so as to significantly lower the production cost, and the sensing device can be incorporated with miniaturized system design and integrated with microchannel to become a portable device.
