Abstract
A power-efficient route discovery method for multi-hop wireless networks is provided. First, at least one intermediate user equipment receives a first message and a second message. The power of the first message and the second message is used to determine whether the intermediate user equipment locates on one of N joint areas. Then, at least N backer user equipments are generated and each of the N joint areas includes at least one backer user equipment. And then, the sending user equipment transmits a third message to a base station through N backer user equipments.
