Abstract

A wiring box (11), wherein a locking part (17) is fitted to the front side of a box body (B). The locking part (17) is projected so as to be separated from the box body (B) along a direction crossing perpendicularly to a mounting seat surface (14a). A locking surface (17a) positioned to be flush with the front end face (13a) of the box body (B) is formed on the rear surface of the locking part (17). A connection part (16) connects the locking part (17) to the box body (B). The connection part (16) is formed thin to easily separate the locking part (17) from the box body (B). Accordingly, an operation for mounting the wiring box (11) on a building material (10) can be easily performed so that the front end face (13a) of the box body (B) can be positioned to be flush with the front face (10c) of the building material (10). Furthermore, it can be prevented that the locking part (17) obstructs a wall material (Wa) installed at the front (10c) of the building material (10).
