Abstract
A scan backlight module and a brightness adjustment method thereof are disclosed. The present invention uses at least one light sensing element to detect brightness values of zones divided by a plurality of dividers formed in a scan backlight module, and then uses a control circuit to adjust the duty ratio or current of at least one light source mounted in each zone after comparing the brightness values, thereby making the brightness of the zones substantially the same.
