Abstract

This invention discloses a surface plasmon resonance sensing system, apparatus and method. The system comprises an incident illuminant, a modified optical fiber, a layer of gold nanoparticles, a microfluidic module, and an illuminant sensor. The modified optical fiber is an optical fiber which is removed a protective layer and a portion of the covering layer. The layer of noble metal nanoparticles is covered over the modified optical fiber. The microfluidic module is a microfluidic chip for containing the modified optical fiber and a test material. The illuminant sensor is used to detect an output illuminant of the modified optical fiber.
