Abstract

A film-coating method including following steps is provided. First, a substrate with a front surface and multiple micro-protrusions thereon is provided, wherein each micro-protrusion has a first side surface and a second side surface not parallel with the first side surface. The substrate is then rotated around an axis such that the substrate spins within a cylindrical space. Thereafter, an atomized coating is provided into the cylindrical space such that only the first side surfaces of the substrate are coated by the atomized coating due to the spinning of the substrate. The film-coating method mentioned above is performed without utilizing any photolithography process to selectively deposit film on predetermined position, such that the manufacturing cost can be significantly reduced.
