Abstract

This invention aims to disclose an insertion-replacement tool bit disengaging structure, including: a grip portion and a tool bit to be replaced. The tool bit is formed at an end thereof with an engaging end. The grip portion has at least one end being formed as a pivotal end to be pivoted to the engaging end of the tool bit. The engaging end of the tool bit is provided with an elastic, expandable urging member. A sidewall of the pivotal end is provided with a bore. The bore serves to allow the urging member to pass and secure in place. The connection of the urging member and the bore enhances engagement force between the engaging end of the tool bit and the pivotal end of the grip portion. The pivotal end of the grip portion is provided at an outer side of the bore with a press indent. The press indent adapts to a finger tip to be configured to a half-moon shape with a slightly center concave, such that users are able to push the urging member in the bore by the press indent at the outer side of the pivotal end and the urging member would retract towards the engaging end and withdraw from the bore resulting in easy removal of the tool bit. The insertion-replacement tool bit disengaging structure is particularly suitable for large-size hand tools because the engagement force between the tool bit and the grip portion is relatively high such that the tool bit can hardly be disengaged without first withdrawing the urging member out of the bore. The design of the press indent not only eliminates the need of using other auxiliary component to assist in pushing the urging member out in the conventional art, but also simplifies the structure and reduces the manufacturing cost.
