Abstract

A method and system for characters identification inputted by handwriting employ the tangent angle of the included angle between two neighboring strokes in a character inputted by handwriting to process the inputted strokes, so as to adjust the structure and position among strokes and further capture the characteristic information of each character inputted by handwriting for identification. The present invention employs the tangent angle for the included angle of each stroke to calculate and process the structures and positions among strokes, perform an optimization processing with respect to the irrational factors of conventional recognition method, so as to get rid off the influence of input equipment to handwriting and error of human factor, effectively eliminate more error points, and improve the processing speed of handwriting identification and identification rate.
