Abstract

Problem to be solved: While recovering volatile organic compounds safely and with high-concentration, pressure fluctuations of a gas system to be treated is prevented, so as to continuously separate and recover the organic compounds. Solution: The equipment of recovering volatile organic compound has an air-passing treatment region (Z1) for making a gas including a volatile organic compound pass in parallel with the axial center of an adsorption rotor (10) in which a structure having an air-passing gap carrying an adsorbent is rotated around the axial center, and adsorbs the volatile organic compound with the adsorbent. The equipment of recovering volatile organic compound is further provided with: an inactive gas replacement region (Z2) where an inactive gas is made to pass to the downstream side of rotational direction of the air-passing treatment region (Z1) and the remaining gas above mentioned is replaced with the inactive gas; a desorption treatment region (Z3) where the heated inactive gas is made to pass to the downstream side of the inactive gas treatment region and desorbs the inactive gas and the volatile organic compound remaining in the structure; and, further, a separation/recovering means (18) which separates the inactive gas from the inactive gas and the volatile organic compound discharged from the desorption region (Z3) and recovers the volatile organic compound.
