Abstract

The invention discloses a computer system capable of processing a multimedia file in a main-power-off condition. The computer system includes a standby power supply, a storage device, a controller, a decoder, and an output unit. Under the main-power-off condition, the storage device, the controller, the decoder, and the output unit all are supplied with the standby power by the standby power supply. The storage device stores the multimedia file. The controller accesses the multimedia file from the storage device in response to a request signal. The decoder receives the multimedia file from the controller and decodes the multimedia file into a plurality of output signals in response to the request signal. The output unit receives and outputs the output signals in response to the request signal. Accordingly, the computer system is capable of broadcasting the multimedia file under the main-power-off condition.
