Abstract
A high static pressure axial flow fan (1) has an impeller (11) and a casing (12) where the impeller (11) is received. The impeller (11) is an impeller for a turbofan in which sucked air is discharged radially from the rotation axis of the impeller (11). The casing (12) is a casing for an axial flow fan in which sucked air is discharged in parallel to the rotation axis. Also, the casing (12) has a pair of side plates (17, 18) covering both sides of the impeller (11) and also has an outer circumferential plate (19) covering the outer circumference side of the impeller (11) with a predetermined gap between them. An air suction opening (20) is provided in one side plate (17), and an air discharge opening (21) is provided in the other side plate (18).
