Abstract
The invention pertains to a gauge control method for rolling processes, particularly hot-rolling processes carried out with at least one roll stand, wherein the current mean position of the screw-down cylinders of the roll stand and the cumulative rolling force thereof are taken into account, and wherein at least one additional position measurement is carried out by determining position signals in the close vicinity of the roll gap of the roll stand.
