Abstract

This invention relates to a brush-less rotary motor, comprising: a rotor, which includes a plurality of wheel-shaped rings that are coaxial and are radially adjacent to each other, each rotor wheel-shaped ring having a plurality of magnetic elements distributed along a circumferential direction of a respective rotation axis, each magnetic element having two magnetic poles each having a respective polar surface; and a stator, which includes at least a wheel-shaped ring, the plurality of wheel-shaped rings of the stator being coaxial and radially arranged, each stator wheel-shaped ring corresponding to a rotor wheel-shaped ring respectively, each stator wheel-shaped ring having a plurality of electromagnet components, which are is arranged along a circumferential direction of a respective rotation axis. Here, the magnetic elements of each rotor wheel-shaped ring show no relative movement with respect to each other. The stator and the rotor are coupled together in such a way that each stator wheel-shaped ring is constrained between two magnetic poles of the magnetic elements of the corresponding rotor wheel-shaped ring respectively, and at least a portion of the stator wheel-shaped ring surrounded and enclosed by the corresponding rotor wheel-shaped rings. Therefore, two axial air gaps are formed between each stator ring and the corresponding rotor ring. The plurality of wheel-shaped rings of the rotor has a U-shaped cross-section that is of magnetic conductivity, the U-shaped cross section being formed of a cross wall connecting two side walls. Each side wall has a side internal face on which a plurality of magnetic elements is inlayed to allow the surfaces of the inlayed magnetic elements to face one of the axial air gaps.
