Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for preparing a composite electrode material and an electrode of a capacitor. The method for preparing the composite electrode material comprises steps of preparing a mixture solution including ruthenium halide and carbon, titrating the mixture solution by an alkaline solution to form a precipitate, separating and drying the precipitate, and performing a thermal treating process to activate the precipitate so as to complete the composite material. The weight ratio between ruthenium halide and carbon is between 1:2 and 1:0.125, and the alkaline solution is NaOH or KOH. Particularly, the step of titrating the mixture solution by an alkaline solution includes processes of performing a first titration, placing the mixture solution still for a predetermined period, and performing a second titration, wherein the first titration is terminated substantially at pH 6.8 and the second titration is terminated at pH 7.0.
