Abstract
A proton exchange membrane type fuel battery and its dual bipolar plate are disclosed. The bipolar plate comprises an anode plate, a cathode plate and a cooling element. The anode plate has an anode gas channel for the anode gas to pass through. The cathode plate is next to the anode plate. The cathode plate has a cathode gas channel for the cathode gas to go through. More than one cooling channels are formed between the anode plate and the cathode plate for the cooling fluid to exchange with the heat. The cooling element is disposed at the cooling channel to increase the cooling surface area for improving the cooling efficiency.
