Abstract

The present invention discloses the ultra violet (UV) ray irradiating device in which the status of the work can be monitored easily during the irradiation of the UV ray. In the present invention, the irradiating unit 2 irradiates the UV to the irradiated spot on the substrate 24. The camera 20 arranged above the substrate 24, takes the picture on the irradiated spot. The image processing section 16 produces the image according to the image signal received from the camera 20, and measures the moving distance of the work by extracting the work position from the image produced. The controller 4 receives the image produced and moving distance of the work measured by the image processing section 16, and displays it on the display unit 8. The controller 4 judges whether the measured moving distance of the work exceeds the predetermined threshold value or not, and issues a message of exceeding the predetermined threshold value to the display unit 8 or the audio output unit 18. when the measured moving distance of the work exceeds the predetermined threshold value.
