Abstract

The invention provides glass mold forming device, apparatus, and method. The device includes a lower mold core for placing a glass saltpeter material, a central mould composed of at least two curved blocks and covering on the outer side of the lower mold core, an upper mold core placed inside the central mould and being movable against the lower mold core, an outer sleeve placed on outside of the central mould and aligned with pressurizing holes of the curved blocks. Thus, in the process of pressing and forming glass saltpeter material into glass lens, the upper mold core, the lower mold core and the central mould are not affected by space of the outer sleeve as thermal expansion at high temperature. The pressurizing holes applies force on the curved block to concentrate the force pressing inward, thus enhancing forming quality of glass lens.
