A positive result indicates that the pixel of the partial image is a mild change or close to 45 degrees slant edge, therefore, further to calculate the result according to the bi-interpolation of the color information on the neighboring pixel against the pixel. Due to more than 80 percent of the common images are composed of mild change or close to 45 degrees slant edge, the calculation speed can be greatly improved when applying this technique to be the first step for reconstruction the image information.
