Abstract
The present invention provides a real-time access system of Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and method thereof, which comprises a subscriber end and system providing end. The subscriber end sets a maximum storage capacity of a first storage module through a setting module, uses a detection module to detect the current storage capacity of the first storage module, and uses a checking module to check if the current storage capacity is not less than the maximum storage capacity. If yes, the user end transmits an authentication code to the system providing end immediately through the network. The system providing end connects to the network through a second connection module to receive the authentication code. Then, a control module authorizes the subscriber end to access the second storage module disposed at the system providing end after the control module confirms that the authentication code is correct, ensuring that data loss will not occur due to insufficient storage capacity when the DVR is recording.
