Abstract

This invention disclosed a rapid induction heating apparatus built in the injection mold, injection compression mold and hotembossing mold. It could be used in the manufacture processes of heating-plasticity material, like plastics, glass and so on. The features of the apparatus are including the fixed/removable upholders or a plow groove are on the ceramic substrate, a radio frequency induction coil is putting in the interval of the upholders or the groove, the geometric pattern of the groove or the radio frequency induction coil on the ceramic substrate could be modified according to the position and the geometric pattern of the target heating objects. The mold insert would be heated by the coil on the back side of the mold insert without contact when the current is charging on the coil. The mold insert could be heated overall or partially. The mold with the invention apparatus could be connected by the conduits to the low-temperature and dry air supply conditioner. The interval of the upholders and groove would be filled and flowed with the low-temperature dry air. The coil charged an electric current would be cooled down directly by the low-temperature air. And the mold insert may be cooled down indirectly by the low-temperature air. The fluid properties of the plastic material would be better while the invention apparatus is built in the mold and the coil is charged by the electric current. The low-temperature dry air in the invention apparatus will cool down the coil to prevent burn out and keep the good electric properties. The invention apparatus could be made as 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional according to the geometric shape of the product, and the dimension is not restriction. Furthermore, it could be used for micro-injection process and common injection process and so on by the invention method.
