Abstract

The present invention relates to a stereo environment simulator, which utilizes genetic algorithms and fuzzy theory to alter system parameters of different room modes through fuzzy control such that an audio signal is transformed into a subjective indicator by a first fuzzy speculate system and further transformed into a system parameter by a second fuzzy speculate system. The system parameter is mixed with an audio signal into a sound through an artificial reverberation unit and then the sound is outputted by a sound output unit. As a result, an optimized parameter is obtained to improve sound quality. Users can choose any room simulating result according to personal preference. The simulator can be applied to digital content industries such as electronics, communication, and audio/video entertainment.
