Abstract

The present invention relates to a protection circuit of high capacitive load switch contact connected between a alternating current power and a capacitive load, said protection circuit comprising a first driving element, a first relay, a second driving element, a second relay, a delay unit connected between a signal input end and the second driving element, and a current-limiting resistance connected between the first relay and the second relay. When a controlling signal is input into the signal input end, the first driving element and the delay unit can be triggered simultaneously, and the first relay is driven by the first driving element to joint the contact. In the meantime, the current of the alternating current power can pass through the current-limiting resistance and be outputted to the capacitive load; after a predetermined time, the delay unit can trigger the second driving element, which then drives the second relay so as to present the current-limiting resistance under a short status.
