The present disclosure provides a method to fight spam. In one embodiment, the method to fight spa; comprises setting the condition to identify the received email as the junk mail; filtering out junk mail according to the set condition, recording the sender identity of the junk mail; accumulating the frequency that the sender has sent junk mail to the mailbox; and issuing a warning if the frequency exceeds the threshold value set by the receiver. The warning comprises requesting the administrator of the sender's mail server to prevent the sender from sending spam; or notifying the network police, so as to prosecute the sender for his liability.
