Abstract

The present invention provides a cathode of lithium ion battery, which includes a number of nano particles. The nano preticle includes nano carbon material and oxide enwrapping therearound. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing the cathode. The nano particles are made by hydrothermal method. A lithium ion battery using this cathode is also provided, which includes an anode, a cathode, and a porous membrane as a separator sandwiched therebetween. The cathode includes a number of nano particles, which include nano carbon material and oxide enwrapping therearound.
