Abstract

Device whereby an object (1), such as a watch case, is rendered reversible and interchangeable in a support element (2) that is open on a lateral side, allowing the insertion and remova 1 of the object (1) via said lateral opening. Said opening is closed by a part (18) of the object (1) that fits snugly onto the open lateral side of the support element (2). The device comprises a locking system consisting, first, of a part incorporated in the support element (2) that includes a slide (3) arranged on at least one spring (7), it being possible for said slide (3) to be actuated by a push button (11), and, second, of a projection (6) integral with the edge of the object (1). The end of said projection (6) includes a profile that is inclined so as to be able to lower said slide (3) perpendicularly to the rectilinear movement of the object (1) when the latter is inserted into the support element (2) and approaches its end position. The slide (3) locks the object (1) once the latter has reached its end position in the support element (2). The object (1) is detached by means of a pressure exerted on the push-button (11).
