Abstract

This invention relates to a vehicle backing-up radar device without a controller, including: at least one mater and one or more than one slaves, wherein the master uses a microprocessor to control the operating timing of various slaves via a selection circuit, a communication circuit and a slave, and to collect the detection results of various slaves. The master itself also executes obstacle detection. The microprocessor determines whether an alarm circuit is to be triggered based on its own detection results and the detection results of the slaves in order to alarm the driver. The backing-up radar constructed of the above mater and slaves does not require an independent controller box, so as to effectively overcome the issues involved in mounting and inspecting the conventional backing-up radars.
