A tablet contains amino acid containing not more than 10% grain with a grain diameter of not less than 80 μm. The amino acid preferably ranges from 1 mass % from 40 mass %. In this case, the tablet is preferably produced through a process of coating the granule with a coating material containing a binding agent thereby to produce coated granule and a process of tableting the coated granule thereby to produce the tablet.
