Abstract

This hinge for the double swinging door comprises a cylindrical casing 32; a spring shaft 34 coaxially set into the cylindrical casing and relatively turnable; a coil spring 36 set between the cylindrical casing and the spring shaft; and a driving member 42 fixed to the door to turn the cylindrical casing when the door is opened to either right or left side and to turn the spring shaft when the door is opened to the other side. When the door is opened to one side, the spring shaft is fixed, and when the door is opened to the other side, the cylindrical casing is fixed. When the door is opened at the predetermined angle or more, the cylindrical casing and the spring shaft are integrally rotated to cause no deformation of the spring.
