Abstract

The invention provides a picture capturing and tracking method of dual cameras. It integrates two cameras to capture pictures and track the image of objects, comprising two parts: the first one is a calibration procedure of image corresponding parameter and the second one is an auxiliary tracking mode procedure. Because the cameras are positioned closely each other, the complexity of camera calibration issimplified. It utilizes calibrated parameters to capture clear images of an object in an public open space. Furthermore, taking advantages of relationship of the two cameras and the captured clear images, it assists to distinguish crossed objects to improve tracking effects of objects in an public open space. Therefore, the invention provides a picture capturing and tracking method of dual cameras for tracking a plurality of objects and capturing clear images. Moreover, it improves tracking effects by way of camera information.
