The invention relates to an information carrier comprising: - a first layer (L1) comprising data areas made of a material polarized according to a first direction (d1), or made of a non-polarized material, - a second layer (L2) comprising data areas made of a material polarized according to a second direction (d2), or made of a non-polarized material, each data area of said first layer (L1) facing a data area of said second layer (L2), said first direction (d1) and second direction (d2) being neither identical nor perpendicular to each other.
