Abstract

This invention relates to a regulator for the motorcycle ignition unit. It comprises at least a control unit, an engine speed detector, and a power transistor. The control unit is controlled by the ignition switch or the switch of the brake. Engine speed detector is set at the engine for engine speed detection and for speed data feedback to the control unit. The power transistor is controlled by the control unit for a smooth start of the starter. To avoid the noise caused by a sudden start of the starter is the purpose; it could avoid, under the normal engine operation, even a much louder noise caused by activating incorrectly the control unit. It could also keep the battery from been damaged by a sudden drop of the voltage and improve the performance of the ignition unit.
