Abstract

The present invention provides a gas blowing device to a prechamber in a coke dry queching apparatus for cooling a red-hot coke produced in a coke oven and a method for operating a coke dry queching apparatus. This gas blowing device comprises a plurality of temperature measuring devices in the coke oven and a plurality of air blowing nozzles provided at the periphery of the prechamber of the coke dry queching apparatus, and a branch pipe for branching a part of circulation gas to cool the red-hot coke in the prechamber, which the and the nib of the branch pipe is connected to the air blowing nozzle, and an air blowing amount and circulation gas amount control device which is controlled by the measured temperature in the coke oven by the temperature measuring device.
