Abstract

The present invention relates to a structure of the weft carrying gripper (rapier shuttle) of shuttleless loom, especially aiming at the improvement of the first rapier shuttle that is carrying weft. It is capable of surely promoting the consistency of carrying weft without lowering the proceeding speed and without off-line or broken problems even when weaving smoother fabric so as to greatly raise the proceeding efficiency and quality. On its design structure, mainly of adding a copper material to the inside of the fixed clamping panels on the inner of the first rapier shuttle to form a raised rib with girding trims alongside its width and thickness on both sides through pulverizing and shaping process in order to form a smooth holding condition. Meantime, this raised rib corresponds to the slotting of another active clamping panel, so whenever the elastic pressure panel presses the active clamping panel, the raised rib for fixing elastic panel is matching the slotting of the active clamping panel for it to perform tighter clipping function once the weft is running in between them. Thus there will not be any off-line or broken problems due to insufficient clamping strength during high-speed mutual movement of the first and second rapier shuttles even in process of weaving smooth fabric, and accordingly it may raise weaving quality without requiring lowering the proceeding speed.
