Abstract

The object is to provide a resin composition for liquid crystal panel capable of simultaneously solving both of the generation of coating unevenness as well as drying unevenness, and to provide a color filter and a liquid crystal panel using the composition. A resin composition for liquid crystal penels comprising a binder resin, a surfactant and a solvent, wherein the contact angle θ (in degree) of the liquid drop of the resin composition to a clean glass surface and the surface tension σ (mN/m) of the resin composition satisfy the equations (1), (2) and (3) below, a color filter produced with use of the resin composition for liquid crystal panels and a liquid crystal panel produced with the resin composition for liquid crystal panels. θ ≤ 5×(σ0-σ) (1) σ ≤ σ0-1 (2) θ ≤ 15(3).
