Abstract
To provide a camera module capable of restraining magnetic interference between adjacent stepping motors while securing space around a lens barrel. A focus actuator 41 and a zoom actuator 71 for operating the lens barrel 12 capable of focusing and zooming are mounted on one surface of a base 32 on which the lens barrel 12 is mounted. The respective actuators 41 and 71 are equipped with the stepping motors 42 and 72 and reduction gear trains (transmission mechanisms) 43 and 73 interlocking the lens barrel 12 with the motors. The respective actuators 41 and 71 are constituted so that their height may be lower than the height of the lens barrel 12 with the one surface of the base 32 as reference. The actuators 41 and 71 are developed and arranged along the one surface of the base 32 separately in the periphery direction of the lens barrel 12.
