Abstract
The invention relates to an optical identifier (1) comprising an identification layer (3), in particular a physical unclonable function, and a sensor layer (4). Sensor areas (7) present in the sensor later (4) for detecting an identification signal (21) generated by said identification layer (3) in response to an irradiation beam (12), are relatively small in relation to the spatial frequency of the identification signal (21).
