Abstract

The present invention is an optically driven control method for liquid droplet, mainly placing liquid droplet on the substrate coated with photosensitive material, enabling liquid droplet to coagulate owing to hydrophobicility of the said photosensitive material. Furthermore, the illumination of light is controlled according to the desired moving route of the said liquid droplet. By illuminating the photosensitive material beside the liquid droplet, the hydrophobic photosensitive material becomes hydrophilic, thereby driving the liquid droplet to move toward the place more hydrophilic.
