Abstract

To efficiently dispose a heat pump mechanism to be a heat source of a dry air in a casing along the inclination of a rotation axis of a drum and improve gravitational drainage of dehumidification water caused by the heat exchange. The drum 24 is so constituted that its rotation axis is inclined upward in the front and the heat pump mechanism used as the heat source of the dry air to be circulatingly fed to the drum 24 is disposed along the inclination of the drum 24. In particular, an evaporator 38 for dehumidification constituting the heat pump mechanism is disposed in a lower space in a higher position side of the inclined drum 24, and a condenser 37 is disposed in the lower space in the lower position side.
