Abstract

A method and a system of a half-controlled silicon control rectifier for achieving efficiency of soft: start by using a first detecting unit detecting zero cross point of a three-phase current of its input, a second detecting unit detecting DC (direct current) bus, and a control unit controlling a half-controlled silicon control rectifier unit by software control. But only using a complex integrated circuit achieves soft start by hardware control.
