Abstract

The present invention relates to a memory card having content protection recordable media (CPRM) function, which includes plural pins, a flash memory chip, a switch pin and a controller. The plural pins are disposed on the front end of the memory card. The controller having a register is electrically connected with the switch pin and the flash memory chip such that the plural pins can access data stored in the flash memory chip by virtue of control signals. The switch pin is disposed on the memory card to receive a switch signal for being sent to the controller, so as to enable the CPRM function and allow to access data in the flash memory chip from external by means of the CPRM function via the controller; otherwise, the CPRM function is disabled to allow to access data in the flash memory chip from external by means of a regular accessing means.
